Product Update: FR50 Discontinued – We now have 2 options for your consideration:
1. Transition to DT50 10W50 Synthetic Racing Oil. High Zinc - FULL RACE APPLICATIONS, High H.P. / Dedicated Racing or High Boost Levels where a synthetic oil is desired.
2. Transition to Driven HP-X 5W50 - Cat Safe Modern Factory High Performance engines to mild performance increased with moderate boost etc. (LS, LT, Coyote and Gen 3 Hemi)

DT50 (High Zinc) for a 10W50 Synthetic Racing Oil.
DT50 is identical to our discontinued FR50 except DT50 being a 10W50 viscosity (vs. FR50 which was 5W-50). The additive and levels used are the same, as are the base oils. In racing applications where FR50 and now DT50 are recommended, the Cold Crank rating is generally not as much of an issue as it would be for a "daily driver" used during cold weather months. Many customers who previously relied on FR50 have successfully transitioned to DT50 and report equal (or better) performance
HP-X 5W50 Synthetic High Performance Motor Oil.
If you need a 5W50 motor oil for a high horsepower street and/or track day car or drive a modern factory high performance vehicle, Driven HP-X 5W50 is an excellent choice for a FR50 replacement oil.
