Break-In Oils

The final step to building an engine is starting it for the first time.

Driven Break-In motor oils are formulated specifically for Break-In and provide the best foundation for high horsepower output, cooler running and longest engine life of your new, crate or rebuild engine. Also use for new camshaft installations/swaps. 

Our break-in oils are engineered to ensure optimal performance during the critical initial stages of engine operation. With advanced formulations, these oils provide superior lubrication and controlled wear, making them the ideal choice for new builds or rebuilds.

High ZDDP levels and Ultra Low Detergent levels optimized for break-in of both flat tappet and roller camshafts. 

Formulated to provide “controlled wear” to occur between the cylinder wall/ring interface while maintaining wear protection and faster ring seal. 

We recommend running our break-in products for the initial 30 minutes, then drain and replace with new break in oil and change filter. Run for 300 miles max.
